Katie has had a love of art from an early age. She initially studied a Diploma in Visual Communication and spent years working as a Graphic Designer. Katie moved to the Noosa area in 2003 and was further inspired by the beauty of the coastal region and hinterland. Family life took her on a different path but she continued to share her love of art and photography with her children, encouraging their own creative endeavours.

2025 marked a significant crossroads in Katie’s life and has opened up new possibilities to enhance her artistic skills and embark on an exciting new adventure as an Emerging Artist.

Katie has always been inspired by the intriguing patterns found in nature and her technique translates the spirit of the environment into a refined, contemplative abstraction - evoking connection and serenity that echoes the rhythms of the natural world.
